Books I'm reading...
I have tons of books stuff on the shelves in my bedroom. Alex jokingly mentioned my bedroom as a little library. Truthfully only small numbers of them successfully finished and the rest are still marked by the bookmarks. The reasons I can't finish them may be that I have very little time and I get bored too easily.
Part of my New Year's Resolution is to finish 50% of the books I marked within this year - which are 10ish books (Can you believe that in the past few years I can't finish them??). These include non-fictions, how-to, motivating type and business updates. I realized that I've forgotten some information & excitement from the non-fiction and business updates are definitely too late for the time being etc etc.
Some how these are the books I'm determined to read and finish within this month:
1. the five people you meet in Heaven by Mitch Albom (started in Laos, Dec 2006).
Location to read -> bedroom
This book successfully hooks my attention. I believe I would finish it in a few days and I will move on to NoLogo by Naomi Klein (started in Kaosarn Rd, Oct 2005).
2. Hard-boiled Wonderland and the End of the World by Haruki Murakami. (started in Bali, Jan 06)
Location to read -> toilet
It's Alex's favorite Japanese author and he enjoyed it so much. I just want to figure it out why. After having gone through yawning and nodding in the first few chapters now I'm moving faster and I'm so proud of myself.
This is a good beginning for my lazy Sunday. Ta!
