Expectations

Por kept bugging me to join her to Laos trip - her expectation was to have a hideaway destination to enjoy her fiction & black coffee...

I agreed to join for her sake and that maxed my holiday quota. If you read this, think! how much I value you!

The fun part was that there were 5 of us - I know Por -> she knows Bank -> he's Unn's best pal -> Unn invited Oum, a colleague gal to come alone...that made the whole trip a more interesting experience.


Bank, Unn and Oum seemed to have the same agenda. They are somewhat part-time photographers who, you know, carry this huge camera with thousands equipment along and always see great opportunities to shoot. And let me tell you those are excellent piece of works. Por and I brought along Canon - Just Shoot - and we looked already like Japanese tourists. Evidences are those photos of our huge faces with an arm poking out from the left corner of the frame. We are so narcissus...

I would be the person who had least expectation. I only wanted to see, feel, taste, smell and hear something different and retro from Bangkok. Whatever comes in my way, I will definitely go for it!

Our rough plan was BKK - Nong Kai - Vang Vieng - Luang Prabang - Vientienne - Udon Thani - BKK

Twice we gonna spend the night in the bus.

Sleeping places will be depended on Lonely Planet or let's see what's there.

But don't forget the passport...
